"In a world where we are constantly yelling about our freedoms and our rights, what happens when our right to believe what we choose is no longer legal? This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. It will give you a lot to think about, especially the possibility of its reality."

" Defiantly looking forward to the sequel...While the reviews stated that the book was preachy I didn't find it to be at all. Also it was a free nook book! Score! "
— Heidi, 2/19/2014" This is a different take on end times than we see in the Left Behind books. It is causes you to think about what the persecution would be like if Christianity became illegal now. I am enjoying the story and the characters, but at times it feels rushed. I feel somewhat lost in some of the actions scenes and would love more description to clarify what action is taking place. It is neat how the story is tied to the life of Paul the apostle, being reminded of that helped me to believe that the main character's conversion could be so complete. "
— Kim, 2/10/2014" Love books that make me think what would happen if we had to live through the tribulation and not be raptured right away "
— Truitti, 2/4/2014" Different. It's a page turner, though not what I anticipated. "
— Marisa, 2/3/2014" Jenkins's writing has improved since the first Left Behind novel, but his characters remain flat and their motivations unconvincing. "
— Jon, 2/3/2014" Thought provoking.... "
— Deb, 1/29/2014" This was like a bad rehash of the Left Behind book except with very flat characters I was completely uninterested in. I stopped after Chapter 5. "
— Tina, 1/26/2014" The biggest problem I have with this book is absolutely NOTHING happens! "
— Charlotte, 1/25/2014" It held my interest and reminded me of what is to come. Maybe not every detail but certainly Christians will face great persecution. I feel encouraged to focus on the truths of the Bible as I read this book. It was good enough to push me to buy the second in the series,"Silenced". "
— Laura, 1/19/2014" Very similar to Jenkins' and LaHaye's Left Behind series. If you liked those, you'll like this one. "
— Susan, 1/17/2014" religion has been outlawed and its few followers are hunted down and exterminated.... a future age persecution of religious rights "
— Bobby, 1/11/2014" Very good book, especially if you like the Left Behind Series. "
— Brandy, 1/8/2014" Well written, fast paced, thought provoking series. Could you call it Christian cloak and dagger? "
— Lawrence, 12/1/2013" This seemed more like a beginning work from a beginning writer who also happens to be the religious sort. The framework was there for a good story, but it lacked polish and the ending was a big fat letdown of no ending. Don't waste your time. "
— Joe, 12/1/2013" Not bad, but completely predictable. "
— Susan, 11/28/2013" I wish I had discovered this book sooner! It's very good so far!! :) "
— Savannah, 8/24/2013" The last miracle.... WOW. "
— Deb, 7/16/2013" Another page turner by Mr. Jenkins. The book was quite suspenseful and seemed to bluntly end. Of course I wanted details on god's revenge. "
— Linda, 3/8/2013" An end times novel, obviously the first in a series, set in the future after WWIII, where the government has outlawed all religion. "
— Sheila, 2/18/2013" Great Christian fiction. "
— Gloria, 11/5/2012" I enjoy reading Jerry Jenkins and think this is another wonderful book. It is Christian fiction set post WW III and follows Paul as he struggles being a double-agent. Which decision will he end up making - being atheist or Christian? "
— Donna, 11/3/2012" Very good story, I had a hard time putting it down. "
— Morris, 10/23/2012" I loved this book the underground zealot trilogy makes the left behind series look like something smeared around the inside of a toilet bowl "
— John, 10/14/2012" This book is the first of another series much like the Left Behind series, but it takes place prior to the rapture. It took me a bit to get into it, but I began to really enjoy it and the plot became more and more suspenseful. "
— Carla, 6/30/2012" Very interesting fictional view of what the world would be like if all religion were illegal. The government views the underground Christians as terrorists. God surprises everyone in the end. "
— Michele, 6/19/2012" As a Christian I loved the Left Behind Series both for its message and the action. But, while this book had a great message it had very little action. It was not a page turner and hardly peaked my interest. Sorry to say, I kept waiting for it to be over. "
— Marisa, 1/16/2012" It was ok..at first I thought it was going to be a futuristic thriller, but then the plot began to parallel the bible and became too predictable. "
