Publisher Description

With the holidays over and the long cold winter looming, January can be a bleak month in Minneapolis. So what better way to bring a little cheer to the good people of the city than by sponsoring an old-fashioned snowman-building contest? In a matter of hours, a local park is filled with the innocent laughter of children and their frosty creations. But things take an awful turn when the dead bodies of police officers are discovered inside two of the snowmen—sending the entire department and Detectives Magozzi and Rolseth on high alert.

The next day, Iris Rikker, the newly minted sheriff of rural Dundas County, comes across another body in another snowman. Fearing that Rikker’s inexperience will hamper the investigation, Magozzi and Rolseth head north—in a blizzard—to hunt for clues. As Grace MacBride and her crack computer jocks at Monkeewrench comb the Web for connections, a terrifying link emerges, connecting the dead cops, Magozzi and Rolseth, and Monkeewrench—a link that must be broken before it’s too late.

"So far there's two dead policemen, over a foot of snow, and we have discovered that yes even Grace McBride's pajamas are black. Also, English teachers should not become sheriffs. After reading this I would say that there needs to be more Monkeewrench in the next Monkeewrench book, and that I would have preferred a more concrete ending. I would also still suggest the novel to my friends though. Over all, a decent read but compared to the other three nothing special."

" Much better than the previous of this series! It was clever with out being too out there. I would still like to see more of the Monkeewrench crew! They are the best part but the focus has seemed to switch to the detectives. "

" Another terrific book in P.J. Tracy's "Monkeewrench" series. I believe there are now six books in this series; Snow Blind is the fourth book in the series. If you have not read any of these books, you are missing a treat. I love all of them, and I highly recommend them for everyone. "
