A powerful hit man, Gideon is the master of the game in a jet-setting world dominated by money, women, and violence. Living off the grid, making love on the run, he makes his living as a contract killer by enacting the revenge of the brokenhearted…for a price.
One woman taught him to kill, another motivates him to succeed in the business of revenge. If he can amass a million dollars, the woman he desires has promised to run away with him. For her sake, Gideon takes a high-profile job that earns him dangerous enemies, and hops a plane to London hoping to escape the aftermath. On the plane he meets two mysterious women—have they been sent to bring him down? Have his past transgressions caught up with him at last? Or will one of these strangers help him choose a life of love over a life of violence?
In this underworld of grifters and killers, brokenhearted squares and streetwalkers, loyal fans will spot some familiar faces from Dickey’s previous books. A thrilling ride through extremes of love and danger, Sleeping with Strangers thrives on the darker passions of revenge and desire.

" Gideon sounds sooo sexy!! Great book, fast paced, smooth scene changes! Love EJ!! "
— Ebony, 2/19/2014" This entire Gideon Series is great! "
— Talia, 2/17/2014" WOW EJD, what a disappointment. Nothing like the other boooks I have read. I didn't enjoy this book at all. It really didn't get interesting until the second to last chapter. The writing seemed very choppy to me and different than his other writing style. I do like that he attempted to do something different with a story about a hit man I just don't think it was executed very well. There were too many characters to keep with and it seemed more like a tour of London than a novel. I will pass on the sequel. "
— Nikk, 2/8/2014" I am hooked on this series! "
— Sherrill, 1/22/2014" This is such a good book. "

— Marlon, 1/20/2014" All I can say is EJD better never do the split book thing again. This series just about killed me. Both books were too long and detail filled. Just tell the story already! That aside, he is an excellent story teller. I really did get into it. It just took too long to read! "
— Curvy, 1/10/2014" Gideon without a doubt is the black James Bond. I read the series 3 times and then when I found out there was an audio version had to listen it. I hope to see it on screen. "
— Iona, 12/9/2013" Read the whole Gideon series. Its a shame to love an assasin, but I loved Gideon. He was cool. "
— Dedra, 12/2/2013" Good writing--a tad too violent for me. For patron recommends: sexually explicit scenes. "

— Jevon, 10/9/2012" You have to read all of these awesome and the very best yet. There aren't enough stars to rate this series. "
— Rose, 9/3/2012" It was more of a tour around London and what new stores there were. I love London but I need more plot then what a character had at Starbucks. "
