"I've read several of the Sisterchick series and really enjoyed them. Very light, Christian reading. Different characters and settings make each interesting and unique, enough Scripture to warm the heart but not so much as to make it preachy. Uplifting and usually funny! "
— Donna (4 out of 5 stars)
" Many of the other reviews said they couldn't identify with the main character because she was too old. Well, I'm the same age as the main character, and couldn't identify either. I kept telling myself to give it more time, it was bound to get better, but after an hour into it I just couldn't see wasting any more time on a book that was actually irritating me. Too much good lit out there to be enjoyed, this wasn't one of them for me. "

— Sue, 2/17/2014" Just what I needed, thank you. "
— Gwennie, 2/14/2014" Fun book about friendship and adventure. Two moms who are best friends, take a trip to Finland. Enjoyable, with a Christian perspective, and really relatable characters (as moms who also need each other's friendship). "
— Sarahjane, 2/13/2014" This is the first book in the SisterChicks series. The characters go to Finland. I like the reminders of God's love for us. "

— Newett1att.net, 1/29/2014" This is Christian fiction...if that isn't your thing...then don't bother! If it is, then you'll enjoy the friendship of the women, the adventures thy take and the locales they visit! The same is true for all the books in the series. Quick, easy read. "
— Melanie, 1/23/2014" Yes, it was definitely awesome. A solid 5. Loved Penny Lane, but could definitely relate to Sharon. "

— Shelly, 1/8/2014" I enjoyed this book, even though it wasn't as "fun" as some of the other sisterchicks books. It was more about relationships within families and with friends, and how those relationships affect people their whole lives, than about travel. "
— Suzanne, 1/5/2014" This was a very enjoyable book for me! The two friends, Penny and Sharon, reminds me of me and my best friend, Mary. We haven't taken a trip to Finland, not yet anyway! LOL. But we're close and I consider her a "Sisterchick"! "

— Heidi, 10/17/2012" Fun, easy read. I've read most of the series, you don't need to read them in order, they are only loosely connected. The series focuses on women's friendships and the development of their faith and other relationships. "
