Most high school sports teams have rivalries with other Schools. At Hamilton High, it’s a civil war: the football team versus the soccer team. And for her part, Lissa is sick of it. Her quarterback boyfriend, Randy, is always ditching her to go pick a fight or haze a freshman. And on three separate occasions Randy’s car has been egged while he and Lissa were inside, making out. She is done competing with a bunch of sweaty boys for her own boyfriend’s attention.
Lissa decides to end the rivalry once and for all: she and the other players’ girlfriends go on a hookup strike. The boys won’t get any action from them until the football and soccer teams make peace. What they don’t count on is a new sort of rivalry: an impossible girls-against-boys showdown that hinges on who will cave to their libidos first. And Lissa never sees her own sexual tension with the leader of the boys, Cash Sterling, coming. In this hilarious and romantic reimagining of Aristophanes’ Lysistrata, the battle of boys against girls is on.

"I loved the DUFF so I had high hopes for this book and was not disappointed. Koday Keplinger always seems to be able to create believable well rounded characters that I fall in love with. Lissa being a number/control freak actually added a certain charm to her in my opinion. I look forward to Keplinger's next works."

" all of kody keplingers books are very clique. they unique until the ending when everything goes great for the main character and that's that. I personally love all her books and their storylines but out of all the ones published the duff is probably my favourite "
— Marissa, 1/12/2014" Great audio reader! Not an audio to play for a class audiobook read due to language and sex, but one that will be popular with students. A great playaway purchase or book purchase for all romance fans. A book high school girls will love. I enjoyed Lissa and Cash working at the library. "
— Mrs., 11/24/2013" I feel like a book snob rating this book. I just feel like her style is really immature. The story line is good. The characters are decent. For a reason I cannot quite put into words I feel like I am reading fan fiction when I read Keplinger's work. "
— Laura, 11/17/2013" Loved it too. Seriously becoming a fan of Kody Keplinger. So reading her other book. "
— Precious, 10/19/2013" This book dragged on & on. It is all about sex. Not a clean read for daughters that you prefer not to read about this stuff... "
— Laurel, 7/1/2013" It wasn't as good as The DUFF, but it will make me remember Aristophones for my next quiz bowl practice. :) "
