" I have just discovered Bernard Cornwell and I'm loving his stuff. Great reads and you're getting insight into history at the same time. "

" Cornwell went back to write this "pre-equal" to the Sharpe series. These later novels feel rushed, like he's just pushing them out at this point. It's still good, action-packed historical fiction but Cornwell can do better if he'd just take the time. "
