"I was really hoping that this would be a good read, and I wasn't disappointed. Christina Dodd writes with passion and joy that runs right off the page.Though Secrets of Bella Terra weighed in at 421 pages, the story never dragged. Can't wait to the next book to come out in September."

" This first book was pretty good. There were parts I didn't like. Like at first, I didn't love Brooke. She kind of got on my nerves. And the mystery was pretty easy to figure out. Not all that suspenseful. I was shocked at how much I liked Rafe's mom. She was funny. Brooke's mom ... not so much. All in all, a decent book. I'm not sure how the other books in the series will be, but I'll give them a try. "

" This was my first Christina Dodd novel, and it was obvious she is a talented writer but something was just lacking in this book. It was kind of a hot mess in places, but strangely I still liked it. At some points it was so cheesey, but at others I couldn't tear myself away from reading. I felt the dialogue was a bit disjointed in places and portions of the plot were most certainly over the top, but I still devoured it. That being said, I doubt I will bother with the rest of the Bella Terra series because the plot was just not that interesting to me; however, I will look into Christina Dodd's other work. "

" Well I really liked this book. I think Dodd has a gift for writing contemps. Not so much on her HR but these are always good. "

" The setting of the story in Napa Valley with a mysterious family secret was an interesting story line. Lots of twists and turns surrounding the family, their vineyard and resort. The story lagged at parts but the old flame aspect of the story keeps the reader intrigued. It ends with all secrets revealed and a bit predictable. "

" Not sure I'll read the next in the series. And Brooke's mom's role in everything should haev come out. At least so Brooke was aware of what really happened. Otherwise I don't really have any strong emotions about this book. "

" This was a pretty good romantic suspense book. I liked the characters and the plot was kind of interesting (although the ending was heavily foreshadowed). I would definitely read another in this series. "

" I checked out this book from the library based on a recommendation that I read. The book is about a feud that began two generations before and interweaves several generations of families in the wine country. While I enjoyed the mystery story, I felt that the romance part was a distraction. "

" I've read just the first few chapters, and ... eh. The writing is SO wooden, the characterization is SO trite ... not sure if I can go on. The stereotypes were slapping me in the face so fast, I got dizzy. I never even got to the romance part of it. "
