" Like pure cotton candy for the brain, and good stuff at that. A SEAL Team that fights things that go bump in the night, imagine that. Well 666 actually does take on some pretty harry night bumpers. This is not a bad shot at a first book and I hope that the author uses this as an example to hone his writing skills to give the readers a bit more. As is, this book just seems concerned with all of this supposedly spooky wham bam action to carry the story. No real character development, only seen as some flashback type of items. And no real set up or lead ins on his story line. I do hope that more will develop as the author does have a good premise here. "

Weston Ochse (pronounced ‘oaks’) is the author of thirty-four books, including the SEAL Team 666 books, the Grunt series, Bone Chase, and many others. He is the winner of multiple literary awards, including the Bram Stoker Award for Superior Achievement in First Novel. His work has appeared internationally in DC and IDW comic books, anthologies, magazines, and how-to writing guides. He is active in the Horror Writers Association, International Thriller Writers, SFWA, on Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, and is frequently asked to be toastmaster and guest of honor at genre conventions.
