Dropping off some urgent paperwork at her boss Jasha's house, Ann decides to finally admit her crush on him. But things get a bit complicated when she witnesses Jasha transform into a wolf. "I loved this book! The concept felt fresh, I haven't read anything quite like it. I love the characters so far. The Wilder family seems so loving. I liked the relationship between Jasha and Ann. It was intense and raw, not your regular HEA. My only complaint was the ending, it just sort of dropped off in the middle of no where. Hopefully in the future books this story gets continued."

Quotes

  • “Dodd’s latest is a fast-paced, well-written paranormal, with a full, engaging mythology and a handful of memorable characters.”

" I enjoyed this one enough to hurry out and buy the next 3 in the series. Nothing hotter than a sexy shape-shifter...except, maybe 4 sexy shape-shifters. "

" I really enjoyed this book. I love reading shifter books with strong family ties and this even had an original take on it. I am looking forward to hearing the rest of the brothers stories as well as Firebird's, the only female of thier kind. "

" This book started out great but got a little bogged down with slight wimpy heroine syndrome in the middle and end. The end was a bit abrupt but I am seeing that is a trend with series books. "

" I think I've read all of Dodd's historical romances. This book is the first of her new paranormal trilogy, and it's a solid book. The ending is written to segue into book two; I don't think I've given anything away by telling you that. "

" This author took what could have been an interesting plot and turned it into something a grade-schooler might have written if she sneaked peeks at her mama's romance novels and reassembled the pieces incorrectly. Terrible prose (wonder boobies?), terrible characterization, poorly plotted. "
