    " La Jill Hunt is one of my favorite african american writers, but this book was extremely hard for me to finish. The main character Paisley was extremely unlikable and throughout the book I really hoped someone would just do her in lol. "

    " Though I am not a fan is urban fiction, this was an ok read. I liked the story but thought the story and characters could have been developed more. By the end of the book I was lefted worrying about a few characters. Oh...well..... for thoses that enjoy, urban fiction, they may like this. "

Brenda Hampton is a native St. Louisian, with a gift and passion for writing. She maintained journals for several years, but it wasn’t until she read Terry McMillan’s Disappearing Acts that Hampton was prompted to explore writing in ways she never thought was possible.
