" This book created some good conversations with my wife and I liked some of his main ideas (marriage isn't about you, etc). I didn't like a lot of the illustrations which ranged from "that's a stretch to make your point" to "I'm not sure that's really true". There were chapters that had a very mystical bent, which I think can be very unhelpful. It's a decent book, but there are many better titles on marriage. "

" One of my very favorite books on marriage so far. It gives you a completely new perspective on the purposes of marriage and how to face every issue that comes up. Even just the sub-title gets you thinking: "What if God intended marriage to make you holy more than happy?" "
