" The most consistently good of his many series. Begun in his first novel, Chiefs, these tales are of the Lee family and one member, Will, in his rise to the Presidency and his wife as head of the CIA. "

" Actually I would award this three-and-a-half stars. And for me it follows in a trend I've been noticing while reading Stuart Woods murder/mysteries (for "light" fare) --- namely, that his earlier books (this one dates to 1983) have more substance to them than more current ones. "
