" Kids really liked this one. Had to stop and talk about what was really happening in the story for them to fully appreciate it, but it was a fun adventure! "

" Cute story of a sentient, alien robot that lands on Earth intent on domination, but stumbles across a surburban home instead. Hillarity and destruction ensue. A classic from author Scieszka and illustrator Shannon. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Andrea | 12/26/2013

" Great pictures, but the text was a little awkward in spots for reading aloud, and it kind of seemed like it was trying too hard to be clever and funny. My kids thought it was really funny (their favorite part was the last page), though it's not a read-this-every-night favorite. "

" While this is a cute book, I believe that it is better suited for kids 5-8 rather than 0-5. My Storytime kids were unable to pick up on the nuances of this book that make it so entertaining "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Inspired Kathy | 11/5/2013

" This was our bedtime read tonight. Loved the pictures - struggled with the text. The Queen of all Earth made me laugh as did the last page of the book, poor commander general. "

" What is lacking in good writing in this zany picture book can be made up with expression and voice changes for the reader who is sharing this with a young child or children As long as those things are present this would be a super fun book to share and captivate kiddos. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Tammra | 9/9/2013
