"I loved this book! I am so proud that I for once knew who the killer was. Towards the end I wasn't so sure, but yes! I got it. I enjoyed the "cat and mouse" game with the story line of who the killer was, and with the romantic part. I like that she didn't have Olivia and Noah jumping in the sack the second time they met. I loved how their relationship evolved. I have always liked how Nora Roberts in all her books that I have read so far, describes everything so vividly. I felt like I was running through that forest, or was weeding the flowers, or seeing that magnificant view for the first time. Being a four year old and seeing her murdered mother. She brings out every part of my senses, my emotions and imagination. This was a great romance/mystery." — Becky (5 out of 5 stars)

" Adding books to my list. I will have to go back and reread to write an accurate review. "
" This book was good but not as god as the Reef. I liked the premise and the story line. I knew right away though that it wasn't Sam that killed Julie. I figured it was probably her twin Jamie. I wish we as the reader go to see more of what kind of person Julie was before she was killed but I think the author wanted us to come into it knowing as little as Olivia did. "
" This is the first Nora Roberts book I have read. It reads just like a Channel 5 afternoon movie so if that's your thing you will probably think its ok..... "
" I don't remember the last time I cried so much in a book! "
" Very good book had me not sure of who was the bad guy. "
" It was really good until about the last 20 pages then it wasn't horrible, but I was hoping for a more creative reasoning for why the actual murderer of Julie McBride killed her "
" Loved this one. I could not put it down. Great plot twists. "
" A wonderful tale of love, affection, murder, mystery and tragedy.Just like every Nora Roberts' book it gripped me with it's romance and suspense. "
" Tis is my favourite Nora Roberts book as well as the first! Didnt guess the ending and enjoyed every minute of it! "
" This is one of the best Nora Roberts I've read in a while. Really enjoyed the plot and the characters really made you care about them. "
" This has one surprising ending! "
" Good read! I have read a lot of Robert's novels and this one took me by surprise. "
" A West Coast setting is the difference in this one. A good read with a good couple and a decent murder mystery - reminiscient of Mary Higgins Clark with a little more romance. "
" This book really got to me. It pulled me in then I was hooked by every page. I love books that make you think you know whats going to happen but then it turns, flips and surprises you. I love River's End. I will reread it again. "
" The suspense immediately grabs you and the romance absorbs into you. "
" Don't get prejudge by the author, though it can be a little steamy, her stories are well contrived and her characters are engaging. Not exactly Linux, but you know. "
" Another very interesting reading from NR. A story that keeps the reader's attention from beginning to end. "
" I surprised myself by liking this book. Normally I do not enjoy plots that last over a few decades, but this book had a good movement and interesting characters. "
" This could have been a much better book had it not been painfully obvious in the first chapter who the real killer was. "
" This was a very average book. Too much "romance" for me. The mystery part was good, though. "
" My very first Nora Roberts book. I was hooked! Lovely story & delightful read. "
" Loved Noah, loved Liv. I was surprised by the ending, but in retrospect it made so much sense and I feel like I should have seen it coming. But all in all, I really enjoyed it. "
" I had actually forgotten about this book till Jenn reminded me, and oh how I loved it! I think I might have to dig it out and re-read it now. "
" This was a another good Nora Roberts suspense/romance novel. "
" Typically good Nora Roberts. Not my favorite however as it took me awhile to decide if I liked the 2 main characters. "
" By far... One of my favorite books by Nora Roberts! "
" A little long winded for my personal taste but it was a decent read. I guessed the mystery pretty early and wasn't surprised but I had hoped I would be. "
" Great book. Great story. I loved the twist at the end, though I had that particular part of the story (the who and the why) figured out early on. I just was not sure how it would play out. Definitely one of my favorites of Nora Roberts' stand-alone books. "
" Very good book, bit of a twist at the end, another good Nora Roberts read "
" Probably my favorite full length novel from her. I love how the two main characters kept meeting at different points of their life. They were both so endearing. I loved the Hollywood past Olivia's parents were from. I was not expecting the ending. Awesome story. "
" I kept thinking the story line was familiar and yes, I had read it before (some time ago). It was okay; not any better the second time :-) "
" I finished this book about a month ago and couldn't tell you one thing that happened. I honestly can't even remember who the main characters are from this one. I think this means that I've read way too many of her books! "
" Ah a great murder/mystery book! "
" I didn't like this book. NR has done far better than this. "
