Publisher Description

Smoke Jensen—A One Man Judge and Jury

They struck in a pack, in the dead of night. They had crept in like thieves, like the cowards they were . . . but it wasn't robbery they had in mind.

It Was Something Much Darker . . .

Smoke Jensen was buying cattle a hundred miles away from his Colorado ranch when he got the news. Drawing two horses from the remuda, he saddled up, rode off . . . and didn't stop until he reached his wife's side. She had been shot three times, and lay close to death.

Smoke Jensen knew the outlaws had come to kill him. He wouldn't give them a second chance. He was going after them.

And He Wasn't Taking Any Prisoners . . . Contains mature themes.

About William W. Johnstone

William Wallace Johnstone (1938–2004), born in southern Missouri, was a prolific American author, mostly of Western, horror, and survivalist novels. He began writing in 1970 but had his first novel, The Devil’s Kiss, published in 1979. After his death, it was announced that a carefully selected author had been chosen to carry on his legacy. J. A. Johnstone is continuing William W. Johnstone’s series.

About J. Rodney Turner

J. A. Johnstone learned from the master, Uncle William W. Johnstone. He was the all-round assistant, typist, researcher, and fact checker to one of the most popular western authors of all time. The Loner marked the debut of Tennessee-based J. A. Johnstone as a solo author.
