"This is a fantastic end to a children's fantasy series. I highly recommend this series of books. Emily Rodda knows how to capture a child's imagination and take them on a wild and exciting adventure. They will learn to imagine all kinds of places and monsters and the before they know it they will be reading by themselves. I used this series to teach my son to read chapter books and introduce him to the wonderful world of fantasy novels."

" The final part to the miniseries within the whole Deltora series. I cannot believe the neding. Rodda kept everything well hidden throughout her entire series. I didn't see it coming! Really like it! Finally... the quest for all the gemstone is over. "

" I just finished this book and the series and I thought it was pretty good. The whole series is predictable and light on the action. However, when I talked to my son who just finished it, he was excited about how the story played out. I think for young readers who like action and adventure, this is a great series. Instead of fighting through every conflict, the heroes have to win by puzzle-solving and smart thinking. "
