" This was an excellent read. Lots of intrigue. It's about a young lawyer who is viciously raped. She survives but it changes her life. She moves to another city and becomes a prosecuting attorney only to meet up with her rapist again. She is in the difficult position of wanting to prosecute but knows it's not ethical. The rapist does not recognize her at first, but does after awhile. She really struggles with this tough case. "

A suspect turns up--whom she believes is the same man who raped her years before.[return][return]The plot reminds me of the early patricia Cornwell books; unfortunately, the writing, while good, is not at that high a level. There is a nice twist towards the end that makes for page-turning tension at that point. The courtroom scenes are well done but not out of the ordinary. All in all, a good read. "
