Publisher Description

Jared Thomas has lived his whole life in the small mountain town of Coda, Colorado. He can't imagine living anywhere else. Unfortunately, the only other gay man in town is twice his age and used to be his teacher, so Jared is resigned to spending his life alone... until Matt Richards walks into his life, that is. Matt has just been hired by the Coda Police Department, and he and Jared immediately become friends. Matt claims he is straight, but for Jared, having a sexy friend like Matt is way too tempting. Facing Matt's affair with a local woman, his disapproving family, and harassment from Matt's co-workers, Jared fears they'll never find a way to be together - if he can even convince Matt to try. (Meet Matt and Jared again in the audiobook A to Z.)

"I'm pretty stingy with my stars, but this story deserves all five. It was so refreshing to read a romance that was actually romantic. Lusty scenes can be fun, but without the emotion, they're often throw-aways. This was an emotional story about friendship, yearning, and actual love - and I loved it."

" Sweet friends-to-lovers gay-for-you romance between an openly gay would-be teacher and the new policeman town, the latter of whom is disconcerted with being attracted to a man for the first time. Well-written and rereadable. "

" Lots of people seemed to like this series, so I decided to give it a try. It was...okay, I guess. I did not find it mind blowing. The characters are nice, if a bit bland. The impression that it left on me, 10 minutes after finished reading it, is mediocre. Acceptable, but mediocre nevertheless. "

" Really enjoyed thi book once i started reading it. This is a GFY/in the closet romance and both the MCs were very likeable, and the story developed nicely and in my view realistically. "
