“This latest installment of the D.C. series still has the drama that readers expect. However, there is a natural maturation of the characters, showcased in how they handle the drama in their lives. This allows readers to feel like they’ve grown up with the characters. The author also does a good job of recapping past events to keep new readers in the loop. All in all, this reviewer was surprised by how quickly she was able to read this book as she became absorbed in the storylines.”
