A. W. Gray, a native Texan, has drawn critical acclaim for his crime novels, most of which feature Texas crime lawyer Bino Phillips. He is also the author of the true-crime book Poisoned Dreams. A. W. Gray also writes under the names Sarah Gregory, Crosland Brown, William Gray, and Jeffrey Ames.
Jim Manchester is a retired English and theater teacher in Rhode Island. He has directed and acted in many theatrical productions over the years and has done voice-over work in the Providence area. Jim resides in the lovely seaport town of Bristol, Rhode Island.
