Shana Corey grew up reading about courageous “olden-day” girls from history. Imagine her delight when she went to college and discovered that I could take entire classes on olden-day girls! Now, she has the great pleasure and honor of editing books for children herself. She also writes picture books, most of them true stories about brave women and girls in history. When she’s not writing or editing, she’s usually reading with her two little boys.
Zooey Deschanel writes music, sings, and acts on screens, small and big. She is a cofounder of Hellogiggles and is one half of the indie folk band She & Him . She dances too but just for fun.
