Publisher Description

"If I could give half stars, I'd rate this one 4.5. I had never read this before and really liked it--very different from Disney, though I suppose there is no surprise there. The story is about children but adult in its themes and psychology. Both adults and children in our household enjoyed it. "

" After having grown up with the Disney version, the actual book was quite a shock. Those are definitely some bloodthirsty little boys. "

" I think Peter Pan holds the title for being my first crush i had on an imaginary character...its the main problem with girls isn't it, to love someone who is aloof and unreachable, but makes life unpredictable and fun... "

" So this was good book. A little on the strange side at times but I was actually pretty surprised how close some adaptations have been. I think it address some interesting ideas about growing up and losing the innocence of youth. I think its worth reading. "

" Read this when I was alot younger. It does follow the movie better than I thought. Minus all the killing. Very exciting to think that Peter might be watching you when you tell stories to children. I think from now on I will leave the window cracked just a little so he can hear. "
