"Honestly, I can't imagine a better retelling of Persuasion in a modern day setting. It's so cleverly laid out, the characters are pitch perfect, and the romance is really delightful. Loved it and I'm looking forward to checking out the first in the series (you don't need to read that one first.)"

" Loved it! Juliet Archer is terrific at modern retellings of Jane Austen stories. She was able to bring the story of Persuasion to a modern setting with all the characters true to what Jane Austen wrote. Very enjoyable! I didn't want it to end. "

" I thought that this was a really great modern adaptation of Jane Austens persuasion! I really liked how se managed to keep the book close to Austens classic but with lots of modern twists! Really great book for people who love classics "

" Persuasion is my favorite Jane Austen novel, and I was excited to read this contemporary retelling - even though I generally do not like contemporary novels. Job well done, kept me engrossed the whole time. Wouldn't have minded some additional interaction between the leads. "

" If you like all things Jane Austen, this is a delightful read. Set in modern day England, this is a story about love lost and rediscovered and all of the misunderstandings along the way. "

" Won a copy off of austenprose.com Jane Austen's Persuasion is one of my favorite novels. I really enjoyed this retelling. I still hated characters I hate in Persuasion and still loved the others. I'd be interested to read the author's re-telling of P&P too. "

" When I first selected this book to read, I didn't realise that this was a modernised re-telling of Jane Austen's Persuasion. Archer has captured the essence of most of the characters from the original book and it is interesting to see them translated into the modem world. "
