Persistence: An Iron Will is based on the original work of the late Dr. Orison Swett Marden. Richard Gorham, founder of Leadership-Tools.com, has edited and narrated Persistence: An Iron Will in an effort to introduce Marden's teachings to a brand-new generation of leaders and entrepreneurs.

Listeners will learn important life lessons as they begin their leadership journey. Key issues that are examined in this audiobook include:

  • What persistence has meant to leaders throughout history

  • Why one's force of will is essential to obtaining victory

  • How your willpower relates to health and disease

  • What role persistence plays in achievement over obstacles

  • Why your staying power and mental and physical reserves are so critical in times of hardship

  • How persistence is fueled and supported by faith

As O.S. Marden put it, The development and discipline of one's willpower is of supreme importance in relation to one's overall success in life. No one can ever underestimate the power of an iron will. It is a part of our human nature, and the quality of our very existence depends upon it.

" Really boring so far, and I'm surprised, since I've loved his other books. This is a small book, and yet I'm slogging my way through it. It actually seems to be long on pictures and short on content - which surprises me, for this author. "

" An Iron Will began and ended with god. As if belif in a 1st Century myth equates with will power and success. Had a few good stories in the middle, but I would recommend this pamphlet to nobody. "
