"A high-spirited orphan girl is given the chance to go to college and her letters to her unknown benefactor make up this book. There is so much under the lines of the letters and so much humor that is easy to relate to. Loved this book and would recommend this to maybe preteen and up. "

" I read this as a teenager (It was on my parent's bookshelf) and I fell in love with it. I downloaded it onto my Kindle for free and reread it yesterday and today. It is such a sweet feel good book. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a sweet sentimental book. "

" This is a fun, quick read. I love Judy's spirit. She's playful, down-to-earth, but fiercely independent. The 'letters to an unknown benefactor' format forces you to fill in the blanks between each letter. "
