Organizational development is a transcendence of the self from a subjective disposition to a more objective disposition. As the individual develops within the organization so too will the organization develop. As efficiency may correlate to employee well-being the focus may be too develop a happier workplace. Recognition of the individual as a whole person means to also recognize the individual as part of a greater whole. The individual is to the organization as the organization is to the environment. As one transcends through the levels of consciousness he or she can become a master of consciousness and set goals toward what he or she is truly made for. The malfunction of even one part to the greater whole known as the organization or natural holarchy can result in the dissolving of the organization.
