"Solid 4.5! Didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did. Never thought I'd connect with the characters but found i couldnt put the book down...had to know if Annie would confess her love for Nick, had to know if he would maintain his sobriety, was dying to know if poor Izzy would stop disappearing and finally speak. It kinda dragged a bit towards the end but the ending itself was great. We do sometime think we have to wait till all our "ducks are in a row" and it stops us from doing what we truly want to the moment we decide we do."

— Karen, 2/6/2014" Good fast read. Life lesson, don't ever take anyone for granted. Marriage takes work and effort from both partners. "
— Irene, 2/3/2014" More frivolous than what I normally read, short on depth and sorely lacking in surprises, this book still captured my attention. I enjoyed listening to it. "
— Michelle, 1/31/2014" Enjoyed it more realistic then most "
— Dawn, 12/24/2013" Couldn't finish it. Characters were boring and annoying, plot was trite. "

— Dianne, 11/27/2012" Another great story by Kristin Hannah. I hate Blake and all men like him. Im glad Annie finally came to her senses about him! She waited until the last 2 pages to answer the big question. That makes for a good book. Keeps the reader wondering all the way to the end. "
— Breanna, 7/21/2012" This was the first book of her's I read. I've been hooked ever since! "

— Randy, 6/21/2012" Character inconsistency kept this one far from a five star, and the four star is a weak four. I like her stories, but this one had a missing element. Too much vanished, without any awareness. "
— Mum, 9/30/2011" This was the first book I ever read by Kristin and I was completely hooked! "
— Tina, 8/2/2011" One of the worst books that I decided not to finish. It wasn't worth the time. "
— Jill, 6/17/2011" This was one of her earlier books, let's just say I think both her subject matter and her writing skills have VASTLY improved since this one. In this one she's just couple rungs up from a bodice-ripping romance novel (a la Harlequin.) My favorite of hers so far has been Winter Garden. "
— Carey, 5/15/2011" Predictable but a lovely read. "
— Amy, 5/13/2011" Great book - easy read for vacation! "
— Christen, 5/10/2011" WAY To depressing for me. It reminded me of when my parents divorced except the other way around. "
— Madeline, 5/10/2011" I loved this book but I only gave it 4 stars b/c it ends without a true ending and I hate that! I met the author and she has no plans for a sequel so I will always be wondering what happens with Annie. It's very well written though and you get very attached to the characters quickly. "
— Aimee, 5/10/2011" I found this to be a really nice love story. It was a good quick read. "
— Samantha, 5/4/2011" One of my favorite books. "
— Yvette, 5/3/2011" It took me awhile to get into this book, but once I did, I had a hard time putting it down! "
