Publisher Description

Almost 60 percent of those in American evangelical churches believe that many religions can lead to eternal life. But if Jesus is to be trusted when he says that no one comes to the Father except through him, the church is failing in its mission. And it's not hard to guess why. An exclusive Jesus just isn't popular in our inclusive world.Dr. Robert Jeffress calls on Christians to recover the exclusive claims of the one they claim as Lord and Savior, not as a way to keep people out of heaven but as the only way to invite them in. He tackles questions like - Can people be saved who have never heard of Christ?- What about those who worship God by another name?- Do children automatically go to Heaven when they die? True compassion for non-Christians doesn't lie in letting them go their way while we go ours, but in sharing the only true way with them.

“Jesus said He was the exclusive means to come to His Father for salvation and a home in heaven. Either Jesus was right or He wasn’t. Robert Jeffress believes He was right. Whether you do or don’t, this book deserves a serious read. It asks and answers one of the most critical questions of our time—the one that actually determines a person’s eternal destiny.”

— Dr. Mark L. Bailey, president and senior professor of Bible exposition, Dallas Theological Seminary

Quotes

  • “In Not All Roads Lead to Heaven, Dr. Jeffress has given the body of Christ a great tool. The exclusivity of the Christian gospel is not just a theological issue to be debated, it is the heart and soul of the gospel.”

    — Dr. David Jeremiah, senior pastor, Shadow Mountain Community Church; founder and president, Turning Point Ministries
  • “Dr. Jeffress masterfully addresses the common arguments against biblical Christianity and equips us to engage with those who disagree with Christ’s claims about Himself. Dr. Jeffress aims to help us to more clearly articulate the good news that Jesus came to save sinners because He loves them. Read this book. It’s a must-read for the day in which we live.”

    — Susie Larson, talk radio host, national speaker, and author

About the Authors

Robert Jeffress is an author and the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas. His bold, biblical, and practical approach to ministry has made him one of the country’s most respected evangelical leaders and earned him a Daniel Award from Vision America. He regularly appears on major mainstream media outlets such as Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS. He also hosts a television program, Pathway to Victory, and teaches a daily sermon series.

Maurice England moved to the Chicago area in the fall of 2006, after a twelve year run as a long-haul trucker, to continue the cultivation of his lifelong interest in the expressive arts and oral interpretation. A veteran audiophile, Maurice listened to well over one thousand audiobooks while on the road and fell in love with the genre. From his past experience in broadcasting, community theater, music performance, and ministry he saw narrating as a means to merge his love for books, ideas, learning, and spiritual evolution with his interest in artistic expression. While his narration experience has primarily been nonfiction, personal development, and spiritual-growth titles, Maurice anticipates using his authentically warm and folksy southern style to entertain and inspire through storytelling. Inspired most by the behind-the-scenes artists who engineer, direct, edit, and master the audiobook productions we hear, Maurice has become an absorbed student and participant in the process.
