"I read No safe harbor, in exchange for review from Bethany House. The book was wrote by Elizabeth Ludwig and published by Baker Publishing. The book discussed Cara, a woman on the search for her brother. Cara traveled across the water to America to search for her twin brother. I enjoyed reading the book. I enjoyed the imagery and Cara's determination. I also enjoyed Rourke's scenes (read more about him in the book)."

“There is romance, mystery, intrigue, suspense, and much more in Ludwig’s first Edge of Freedom novel. The characters are strong, both in mind and spirit, which was a must for people straight off Ellis Island in the late 1800s. The author did her research well.”
— RT Book Reviews (4 stars)“Ludwig keeps readers on the edge of their seats in this suspenseful romance, interlaced with period detail, as desperation to find her family takes Cara down a hazardous road to loved ones lost and found.”
— Booklist" Great book! I loved the mystery of it all, and because of that, it kept my eyes glued to the book. I can't wait to read the second book when it comes out in August! "
— Jennah, 1/20/2014" Good story, although I had a little difficulty following all the connections between characters at some points. "
— Cresanna, 1/5/2014" I really enjoyed this book. "
— Michele, 12/29/2013" Great book. Loved the characters and supporting characters. Bit of romance with a bit of mystery and suspense. Can't wait for the next one. "
— Sarah, 12/20/2013" okay - It was a quick read with engaging characters. It was overly predictable and a little unrealistic. Some of the minor characters were a little underdeveloped. It neatly wraps up part of the story with some ends hanging to make the reader anxious for the next book in this saga. "
— Krissy, 11/27/2013" Yes, I recommend it and hope to read the next book in this series. The author's writing didn't quite shove the book up to my "beloved books" list, but the suspense was there, and the love story was satisfying, so I will keep my eye on this new author! "
— Kandra, 12/9/2012" Very nicely done! A good, intriguing mystery with interesting characters, mostly centered on Irish immigrants. "
