Marjorie Weinman Sharmat has written more than 130 books for children and young adults, as well as movie and TV novelizations. Many of her books have been Literary Guild selections and chosen as Books of the Year by the Library of Congress. Several have also been made into films for television, including Nate the Great Goes Undercover, winner of the Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival Award. She lives with her husband in Tuscon, Arizona.
Mitchell Sharmat has coauthored many books with his wife, Marjorie Weinman Sharmat, including titles in both the Nate the Great and Olivia Sharp series.
Andrew Sharmat is the son of Marjorie Weinman Sharmat and Mitchell Sharmat. Nate the Great and the Missing Birthday Snake is his first collaboration with his mother.
John Lavelle is an actor and voice-over artist. He has starred on Broadway, appeared in several television shows, and is the narrator of the popular Nate the Great children’s book series.
