In the case of Savanna and Gracie, friendship isn’t based on reason, but on the notion that opposites attract. Savanna is a head-turning, attention-seeking, accessorized one of “Those Girls,” while Gracie’s love of old movies and commitment to protecting the environment put her into the “everyone else” category. It seems as if nothing could come between them until Savanna’s lies and dependence on Gracie as a false alibi start to take a toll on their relationship. When Savanna gets between Gracie and her crush, the line separating best friend from worst friend is crossed.

" I liked the way Savannah talks: "OMG!!! I like, broke, like.. a naaiiil!!!!...." "Kiss kiss, bye bye" It's so fun to read her dialogue out loud :) "
— Celesty, 2/13/2014" This isn't the book that I would recommend you guys to read at all. :D "
— Nguyet, 1/29/2014" So far, I fegret reading this book! Extremely boring and pointless. "
— Jasmine, 1/24/2014" I found this book very relatable to me and I really enjoyed reading this book. I liked the characters and I especially liked cooper, if only more boys were like that nowadays. Overall I think this book was very good but the only thing that I must say I disliked was the fact that Gracie repeatedly kept on doing the same things which made it slightly boring but I'm glad that I got into it again otherwise I would have missed the ending. I must say though it wasn't the most amazing ending I've ever, but to me it was alright. "
— Madison, 1/18/2014" All the way through the book I was yelling "SELFISH SELFISH Can't you see what she's doing??" But I was in the same position. But still a really good book and excellent characterisation! You can really hear the different voices! Brilliant. Truly. "
— Robyn, 1/16/2014" I must say this book was a very typical chick flick thing and quite cheesy but I still enjoyed it. "
— Phoebe, 1/15/2014" this book is about two friends like a high school Drama, I would recommend it to anyone who likes good drama and best friends. "

— Maddie, 6/18/2013" A cute read about bff's and frenemies in high school. I thought Gracie was a relatable, believable protagonist, although the portrayal of Savanna was a bit over the top. "
— Jamison, 3/7/2013" If you like a book with a lot of Drama this is the book for you. I found that about half way threw it took me twice as long to read because I just couldn't get into it. "
— Stacy, 1/23/2013" I had to force myself to get thru this book. The writing was good but I didn't like the story. There were so many times I wanted to slap Gracie for putting up with Savannah. In the end she finally stopped being a door mat but Savannah never grew thru the entire story. "

— Nadiatul, 11/26/2012" Easy read. Took me only 3 days to finish it (and that was just reading a couple hours per night.) It took me some time to warm up to the main characters. I wish the author would have defined the sub characters a bit more. It was a page turner for sure. "
