Publisher Description

Frank Cascio was a close friend of tragic superstar Michael Jackson for more than twenty-five years. In My Friend Michael, Cascio offers a deeply personal, behind-the-scenes look at the Michael Jackson he knew. Filled with never-before-told stories and intimate details, My Friend Michael is the most candid, moving, and provocative portrait of the “King of Pop” to date—a fair and loving portrait of a true American pop music icon and of a remarkable friendship that endured through triumph and struggle, scandal and controversy.

"A fascinating look at the complicated life of Michael Jackson, this author knew him intimately from the age of five. The contradiction of Michael Jackson's musical brilliance, and conflicted psyche revealed that money does not always bring happiness and health."

" It was a good book, but I am just not sure what to make of it. After the whole fake songs thing, just got to wonder what is true and isn't in this book. "

" I love reading books about Michael Jackson because he was such a mysterious person. This book was good and I liked it but I felt like the author was writing the book to make himself sound good. "

" I enjoy anything about Michael Jackson and this book was no different, but I do have some reservations about some of the comments made by the author as fact. Of course, only he knows the truth as Michael is no longer with us. "
