    " I'm usually a fan of Sherryl's books, but this one did not work for me at all. Elliot and his family were interesting characters, but I thought Karen was a self-centered spineless twit. I got so sick of her using her first marriage as the reason for not having any faith or trust in Elliot. If I had to use one word to describe this book, it would be "boring". Hope the next one is better. "

    " Want to go back and read books 1-7 in this series. Had fun meeting the Sweet Magnolias. Was also interesting to read a book about a couple that is already married and their struggles, since in real life that's what marriage is like. It's not all happily ever after. "

Sherryl Woods grew up in Virginia and has lived in Ohio, Florida, and California. A graduate of Ohio State University, Woods spent more than ten years as a journalist and television critic. Since 1982 she has written more than one hundred romance and mystery novels. When she’s not writing or reading, Woods loves to garden, play tennis, and attend the theater and ballet. She also loves baseball, and claims anyone who has ever seen Kevin Costner in Bull Durham can understand why.
