"With a writing style that is kind of like Lemony Snickett, and a plot that seems right out of a Tim Burton film, the series was a surprisingly entertaining and enjoyable read. The environment is a little dark, but isn't presented in such a way that I felt it would be too scary for younger readers. A fun Halloween time book."
