Travis Hunter was born Florence, South Carolina and decided to start writing his first novel, The Hearts of Men, because he couldn’t find any good books with positive African American male leads. He has written the novels Married But Still Looking, Trouble Man, A One Woman Man, Something to Die For, A Family Sin, Dark Child and the latest, Momma’s a Virgin.
