"Jack and Annie went back to the civil war last time and to the revolutionary war and then ANnie went into one of the boats and Jack had to get her out and they accidentally went to where they were going and then the rowers had to take them back to the magic treehouse. And when they got home the storm wasn't there anymore and it was close to night."

" Book #22 in the Magic Tree House Series. After having read 22 of them, they do tend to have a formula to them, but I really liked this one - must have something to do with George Washington leading his men to victory after crossing the Delaware! "

" This is a good chapter book that is easy to read. There are still some pictures in the book and it is short. I really liked it because it talked about an historic war that happened in the United States. It also throughs in history while making sure that information on the Revolutionary War is included. "

" I read this with my 6-year-old daughter Charity. Good book for kids to introduce the Revolutionary War. In the story the kids encourage George Washington (to go forward with what he did crossing the Delaware) which I thought was just slightly a little over the top (because there is a potential misunderstanding that the reason he continued was because the kids influenced him), but on second thought it was probably good for kids to get them thinking about being heroic, and doing the right thing, and being like Washington was. I'm glad that my daughter was exposed to some of the historical facts in the book. "
