" picked this one up because of the adorable dog on the cover... It too was about loss of a spouse... little bit of suspense, a little mystery, and a little romance... and a lot about the power between a dog and it's owner... well written - and enjoyable - great summer read... "

" I didn't enjoy this book too much, it was too depressing for me. Everyone was just hit and drowning in all of these problems, and no one really got out. Except for the dog. It was written nicely, I just didn't like all sorrows and pain. "

" This book was very good. Death was the main character followed closely by Rocky the dog who got his own POV in some chapters which was interesting. "
