About Katharine Pyle

Katharine Pyle (1863–1938) was an American artist, poet, children’s author, and the sister of Howard Pyle. Over the course of her career she wrote over thirty books and illustrated the works of many others.

Jacob Ludwig Carl Grimm was a German philologist, jurist, and mythologist.
