About the Authors
Richard J. Foster, a Quaker, is the executive director of the Milton Center and professor of theology and writer in residence at Friends University. He is the author of Freedom of Simplicity and The Challenge of the Disciplined Life, as well as study guides to both books. He lives in Wichita, Kansas with his wife, Carolynn, and two children, Joel and Nathan.
Richard Foster is the author of the
well-known Celebration of Discipline
and several other titles. He has served in a variety of ministry positions and
served as pastor for Woodlake Avenue Friends Church in Canoga Park, California,
and on the pastoral team at Newberg Friends Church in Newberg, Oregon. Today, Richard
and his wife live near Denver.
David Cochran Heath is a professional actor with more than 30 years of experience on the stage in over 130 productions. He is also a lifelong fan of radio theater and has done a variety of narration and character work. He lives in San Diego with his wife, Beth.
