Donovan Creed, former CIA assassin, is a smart-aleck tough guy who cant resist a noble cause. Despite a ton of baggage and a penchant for call girls, he always finds a way to beat the bad guys. In this sequel to Lethal People, Creed is forced to choose between his thriving contract-killer business and his desire to live a normal life with the beautiful Kathleen Gray and her newly-adopted daughter, Addie. Before that can happen, he has to take care of some lethal business involving a former lover.

Lethal Experiment is a breezy and fun page-turner, featuring grisly humor, outrageous characters, and sexy dialogue.

Listener Opinions

" Of the two early Donovan Creed novels, this is clearly the stronger o the two. The Rumpelstiltskin Loans subplot was intriguing and reminded me of a recent movie, but this novel offered a broader storyline and a different perspective. The novel does a good job making a character like Creed sympathetic, rather than a pure badass. "

" Um, Donovan Creed is nuts. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Allene | 1/19/2014

" As much as I tried I couldn't get past about one third of the book. The story was too disjointed. It just skipped around without any flow. Definitely not his best. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Kristin | 1/19/2014

" I thought it was a quick fun read. I'm just a little confused on the end of the book... It left me wanting to read more--which is what I'm doing. Maybe this will help clear up my confusion! Overall not a bad book. I bought it on Kindle for $0.99, definitely way worth it! "

" ehh...assassin, violence, murder, skullduggery. intersting peripheral characters. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Calvin Hecht | 12/31/2013

" A grossly amoral novel glorifying assassination; rife with profanities and vulgarities. The author has talent that could be better applied. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Tim Davies | 12/17/2013

" Quite an interesting book, though it needed a stronger/more consistent main plot line... And I didn't really like the main character. "

  • 2 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 52 out of 5 Matt Benoist | 12/3/2013

" Terrible. Just terrible. A book based on nothing that uses weird character facts and bad jokes as a substitute for plot. "

" Will money bring out the best in human nature? Find out what a bag of cash will do to otherwise nice folks. Add in a couple of homicidal midgets and Donovan Creed is on the fast track to a nervous breakdown in his career as a paid assasin and part time hit man for the mob. "

  • 4 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 54 out of 5 Nigel | 11/2/2013

" Yet again a really good fun read not to be taken too seriously, but loved it and the central characters seem to be developing nicely, looking forward to the next. "
