Most people who are familiar with reality shows would not listen twice to any advice or life rules offered by any of the characters who appear in these shows, and rightly so.
However, when it comes to reality show star Caroline Manzo, of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, it's a different case. In both her onscreen and offscreen lives, Manzo has shown a level head, high standards, strong independence and superb parenting skills of three normal and well-adjusted grown children.
Blunt and to-the-point, Manzo has garnered fans from across the globe. She is a lovely, middle-aged wife and mother who puts family above everything. Somehow, amid all the chaos around her, she cuts through issues and offers commentary borne of the wisdom gained from her own experiences. Her advice and ability to assess situations and offer opinions with which women can agree and respect have made her one of the most popular and endearing members of the New Jersey Housewife clan.
In "Let Me Tell You Something," Manzo writes stories about her own experiences, her family, and weaves them with the humor that fans and watchers of the show have come to expect from her. Even non-fans of the show that tune out because of the catfights and histrionics of many of the cast members, end up liking Caroline thanks to her infectious likeability.
Manzo does what she does without any attempt to gain popularity or approval from her audience, yet winning popularity and approval from viewers is exactly what she does. Throughout her commentary, it is evident that she loves and respects people, especially her audience and fans. They trust her because she trusts them, individually and in general, to know the right things.
She offers life lessons to the masses, and is right on target when it comes to being a loyal wife, mother, woman and friend. For many, Manzo has become the all-time favorite housewife, and her audiobook does not disappoint.
