Not since Dashiell Hammet’s characters Nick and Nora Charles has a couple exchanged so much biting banter in the course of solving a murder mystery.
Capturing the turbulence of Southeast DC and the opulence of Georgetown, Knight & Day richly evokes the contrast between the mean streets of Washington and the corridors of power on Capitol Hill.
Jerry Knight is the “Night Talker,” the opinionated right-wing host of America’s most popular all-night radio talk show. Jane Day is a thoroughly liberated and thoroughly liberal woman, a very ambitious reporter for the Washington Post. When a prominent environmentalist is murdered, Knight and Day race against a deadline, and each other, to solve a mystery that goes straight to the Hill.

“Knight & Day is a story as current as today’s headlines, with characters as contemporary as tomorrow’s news. The gender chemistry of Knight & Day, their needling banter gives verbal foreplay a whole new meaning. A great mystery.”

— Larry King“And you think Matalin and Carville are the political odd couple? Wait until you read Knight & Day! Here’s a thriller worthy of the big screen. Suspenseful, romantic and funny in the Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy genre.”

— John Weisman, New York Times bestselling author“Yes, they do more in Washington than spend your money and make you mad. They also commit murders and have a great time solving them. Join the excitement and fun by reading Knight & Day. It’s a treat of a story.”
