" Rape, torture, sexual perversions...not my cup of tea. This book was disturbing. I got half-way through before calling it quits. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Sandy Marlin | 2/4/2014

" The book had a good plot, although parts of it were a bit more descriptive than I cared for. "

  • 3 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 53 out of 5 Christine F. Dargon | 2/2/2014

" So many people love this book but I agree with a few other folks. It was a really good story/plot but I too felt it lacked suspense because the book dragged a bit. There was so much additional information that was interesting but some of it took away from the action. As a result, the suspense could not build. I enjoyed the book but it could have been much better. "

" I really wanted to like this book but very little about it grabbed me. Aside from Lani's character I found the story pretty formulaic, too predictable and no feeling of suspense. "
