Sam Cooper has just become the most eligible bachelor in New York City. Now that he has foiled a jewelry store robbery and has been rewarded with the ring of his choice by the owner, single women all over the city are fawning over the crime reporter. But Coop isn’t interested in the admirers sending racy underwear his way. His attention is centered solely on Lexie Davis, the only woman in the city who claims not to be interested in his bachelor status.
Instead, free-spirited Lexie is interested in Coop’s antique ring and its—potentially scandalous—history in her family. But Coop is quickly becoming more than just her route to the ring. When his investigation starts to uncover the truth, will she trust her heart—and her family secrets—to this most eligible bachelor?

"One of my favorites by Carly Phillips. Has a bit of mystery/suspense, without taking away from the romance. The characters are real and likable, the sex scenes steamy enough. I liked this one more than the follow-up in the Bachelor Blogs series, Love Me If You Dare."

" Another great read by Carly Phillips! "
— Cocktails, 2/14/2014" I listened to this book as opposed to reading it, and the story is a 3 star. Entertaining, funny, romantic... the reader brought the book rating down for me. I could not get used to some of her character voices, they kept sounding drunk instead of from brooklyn. "
— Audrey02, 2/10/2014" I only read this book a few weeks ago. I am now doing my review and to be honest, I can't even remember what this book was about. Sorry. Not a very informative review, but maybe it is . . . . "

— Toni, 2/2/2012" This is the story of Sam Cooper and Lexie Davis who are drawn together by a piece of jewelry from an unsolved robbery in the 1950's . This is the first of Carly Phillips' bachelor blog trilogy. I didn't enjoy this nearly as much as the author's Chandler brothers trilogy. "
