About the Authors

R. O. Kwon is an author whose nationally bestselling first novel, The Incendiaries, was named a best book of the year by over forty publications and was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle John Leonard Award for Best First Book and a finalist for the Los Angeles Times First Book Prize. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, the London Guardian, Paris Review, NPR, and elsewhere. She is a National Endowment for the Arts fellow.

Garth Greenwell is the author of several books, including What Belongs to You, which won the British Book Award for Debut of the Year, was longlisted for the National Book Award, and was a finalist for six other awards, including the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. A New York Times Book Review Editors’ Choice, it was named a Best Book of 2016 by over fifty publications in nine countries, and is translated into a dozen languages. He has written criticism for The New Yorker, the London Review of Books, and the New York Times Book Review, among others.

Roxane Gay is a New York Times bestselling author of several books and story collections. He studied theater performance at Northeastern University in Boston, with adjunct studies at Cambridge University in England and the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. For over a decade, he has done voice work for audiobooks, commercials, animation, and corporate videos.

Corey Brill, audiobook narrator, is a stage, film, and television actor who has performed on Broadway, at The Kennedy Center, and in regional theaters across the country. He has appeared on television in The Walking Dead, Chicago PD, Scorpion, and You’re the Worst. A graduate of Otterbein College and University of California at San Diego, he also writes songs and keeps bees on a rooftop in downtown Los Angeles.
