Finally, the ultimate book of Jewish humor is here, complete with Jewish nursery blueprints (which includes a panic room, fireproof wallpaper, and a guardian ninja, of course), the top-ten list of Jewish 'dont's', the complete timeline of Jewish expulsion, and much, much more.
Before creating Jewtopia the play in 2003, Bryan Fogel and Sam Wolfson were unemployed actors and writers who couldn't get a break. Taking matters into their own hands, they wrote a play, maxed out their credit cards, and mounted the production themselves.
Jewtopia went on to become the longest-running original theatrical comedy in Los Angeles history. The show moved to off-Broadway in October 2004 and, as of the publication of this book, still plays nightly to sold-out audiences, with productions opening all over the world.
Now, for the first time in this book, Fogel and Wolfson are bringing their theatrical work to the comfort of your home.

"Jewish humor with a dose of Jewish history. Hilarious ! ! ! Loaded with great visuals. I especially liked the parts about manscaping, how to avoid germs in hotel rooms and tools and mechanical skills (or lack thereof). "
— Patricia (5 out of 5 stars)
“In this companion to their successful off-Broadway show of the same name, authors Wolfson and Fogel have as much fun with their Jewish roots as is humanly possible, exploring and excoriating Jewish history, culture and stereotypes…If you’ve ever pondered how exactly Noah spent his time aboard the ark (“Shuffleboard was available on deck 2”) or what gefilte fish really is, you won’t be disappointed. Just don’t forget the final exam.”
— Publishers Weekly“The world of Jewish humor books is crowded but the style used by the authors of the play Jewtopia, including audio touches which show they understand the medium, gives this work some nice elbow room…This unique presentation will have listeners smiling in recognition, learning a thing or two, and possibly adding a laugh track.”
— Library Journal“Although some may think it’s hitting below the Borscht Belt, we think Jewtopia is one of the most entertaining reads of the season.”
