"I like this book because it is lilting and colorful; straight-forward fun, with no deep layers of hidden meaning ;o or maybe I missed them. It sounds and looks like a cute poem of Jesse as he goes from sunup to bedtime. I love cuddling a little person and reading this story."

" I think that this book is a great book that children can relate to about the daily routines. I think that it reminds me of the show Little Bear, which I think children can also relate too. I think that children would enjoy the story more because they will be able to relate personally. "
— Allison, 2/15/2014" Participation Book: Cute story "
— Christine, 2/6/2014" The story is about a baby bear telling his mother about all of the activities he will do the next day and what he will need to wear. The bear is detailed in his descriptions of the clothing he will need and makes the telling of the story song-like. I think that this would be a great book to teach about clothing and what is appropriate, especially because it covers what you should wear to school. I also think that if you read this story to a class, students would be more inclined to start dressing themselves. I felt that the story overall had a good mood and overall tone, the only thing the story lacked is a further development of the characters. While Jesse Bear's personality came out a little in his clothing choices, I thought that the author could have done more. "
