Tamara Shiloh is an author and a professional speaker on the importance of teaching Black History all year. She is the author of a five-part children’s book series, Just Imagine…What If There Were No Black People in the World? She has also written a book about Kwanza, Juneteenth, and a short list of African American Firsts. She has also written for magazines and business newsletters. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Bay Area Independent Book Publishers Association, Richmond Chamber of Commerce, Point Richmond Business Association, National Association of Professional Women, Bay Area Consultants Network, Redwood Writers Club, Independent Book Publishers Association, and the California Writer’s Club-Berkeley & Marin.
