"The kids loved it. I had more ambivalent feelings. While it is an action-packed story with a little history thrown in I feel it lacking. It could have been a great book, but the writing was lacking and the characters were not very drawn out and I did not feel for them at all. Also it is fairly violent for a children's book."

" The coincidences which lead Uncle Harvey and his nephew to a long lost treasure were just too much for me to swallow. That said, if I were 12 years old and looking for an adventure read, this would do the trick! A grand and exciting adventure which only lags some of the time. :) "
