What if you could get inside the head of the boy you love? Hear his every thought...? Know his every dream...? Listen in on his every fantasy...?
The narrator of Inside the Mind of Gideon Rayburn can, and she tells us the story of her beloved Gid, an adorably clueless boy who flukes his way into one of the fanciest New England prep schools. Gideon's more than a little out of his league at Midvale, especially compared to Cullen and Nicholas, his charming but morally ambiguous rommates. They terrorize Gideon as they initiate him with a bet over Gid's borderline virginity, and the feisty, sexy Molly McGarry. Gideon is torn--he wants to prove himself, bu he also wants Pilar Benitez-Jones, the most beautiful girl he's ever seen. Hooking up with Molly might be possible, but winning Pilar would be legendary. On the other hand, Gideon actually likes Molly. It's all incredibly confusing and intoxicating. And one hysterically funny girl is savoring Gideon's every thought. But who is she?

"I really liked this book. I've never read anything like this before and although it was a bit confusing in the beginning trying to figure out the different characters who were speaking, it was great. How cool is it to be in someone's mind and hear everything they think about? Read it and find out. "

" I liked the books overall concept, but it the writing itself was so vulgar that it became repetitive and annyoing. The only parts I laughed at were the narrator's thoughts on his thoughts. His thoughts were... eww. And the excuse of raging teenage hormones is not going to work. The drugs weren't necessary, but overall it was a so-so book. I wished I'd spent my money on Thirteen Days to Midnight. "
— Cassidy, 2/5/2014" Amazing, it basically gives you the girl's thoughts on the guy's perpective of the love stories and drama at a prep school in the US "
— Catherine, 1/22/2014" entertaining enough. read very quickly. it's my answer to everyone I know reading teen fiction. "
— Glenn, 1/16/2014" A must read!!! You'll laugh out loud. "
— Natalia, 1/16/2014" Exactly what I like my audiobooks to be - mindless and entertaining. "
— Alex, 1/8/2014" this book is not for everyone. it appeals most to older teens who have ventured into the realm of girls, drugs, and sex. it has a lighthearted tone and some situations in it are pretty funny. a great read, but teens will probably be able to relate to it more than others. "
— Aaron, 12/11/2013" I don't really think of this as high end literature, but I do think I'll keep it around for my daughters to read. I'd like them to be a bit more clued-in than I was! "
— Laura, 12/11/2013" Really good, read in a night YA. "
— Whitney, 12/2/2013" Molly McGarry-- omg amazing book, I love that it took placee in a prep school!!!!!! "
— Darby, 11/25/2013" realized as i got to the end that this was an abridged version. ah! what did i miss! =( but, still quite good, very realistic voice. "
— Karyn, 11/18/2013" What a great book! I finished it and immediately made my 14 year-old brother read it and we both agreed it was amazing. A funny, meaty read, great for high school students. "
— Sara, 9/9/2013" i liked this book as much as i disliked it. i think its impossible to write a guys mind if you are a woman. we just dont think alike. "
— Kellee, 5/16/2013" A nice find from the library. I enjoyed the view through Gid's eyes. "
— Kat, 5/15/2013" This book was sort of hard to get into. It had a slow start, but got better as I got to the middle of the book. Its sort of a mystery, while you read your trying to figure out who's the narrator. I have to admit it was a hard book to read in general, but it helped me get through a boring summer. "
— Yajaira, 11/4/2012" This is one of my favorite books. You'll be rooting for Gid to make the right choice the whole time, even when he seems to lose himself. "
— Danielle, 10/1/2012" Pretty stupid and I'm not sure anyone should be inside the mind of a teenage boy (certainly not me who will someday have a teenage boy - yikes!) "
— Kendra, 9/21/2012" It was really good .. but it's kinda boring at the beginning :) "
— Fatima, 7/30/2012" Loved this! A fun look inside the mind of a teenage boy. Great birthday present from Kristy! "
— Tearson, 7/22/2012" Thanks for lettin me borrow it alex! E><3 "
— Gracie, 3/17/2012" A nice find from the library. I enjoyed the view through Gid's eyes. "
— Kat, 4/23/2011" Thanks for lettin me borrow it alex! E><3 "
— Gracie, 5/27/2010" Pretty decent! Funny, lots of character to the book. (Note: not characterS. Character. Personality, if you will.) "
— J, 4/9/2010" well i didn't start the book yet but i think the first paragraph is interesting because the main character talks about what she wants alot & the thing i don't quiet get is that there's no flap jacket so i don't know what the book is about "
— Jessica710, 3/18/2010" Really good, read in a night YA. "
— Whitney, 2/24/2010" I enjoyed this book because it was a different perspective than the normal teenage angsty book. It is the girl telling the story about the boy (because she is in his head, but not his body) I was little letdown by the end, but up until the very end, I did enjoy this book. "
